Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: January 1, 2026
This page describes the privacy rights available to residents of California and certain other U.S. states, and how to exercise them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used and shared.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Delete the personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and of targeted advertising.
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
"Sale" and "sharing" of personal information
Under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the sharing of certain online identifiers and activity with advertising and referral partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even when no money is exchanged for that specific data. To the extent our use of advertising and analytics technologies qualifies, you have the right to opt out.
How to opt out or submit a request
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to make any other privacy request, email us at contact@autorates.online with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and the state you reside in so we can verify and process your request.
You may also limit certain advertising cookies directly through your browser settings and through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser where required by law.
Verification
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will only use information provided in a request to verify and respond to it.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.
