These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at autorates.online (the "Site"), operated by AutoRates ("AutoRates," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What AutoRates is

AutoRates is a free online advertising and referral service. We are not an insurance company, agency, or broker. We do not sell insurance, issue policies, provide quotes, or make eligibility or coverage decisions. We connect consumers with third-party insurance providers and marketplaces ("Partners") who operate independently of us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. No professional advice

Content on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not insurance, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for evaluating any Partner and any insurance product before making a decision.

4. Third-party partners

When you connect with a Partner, you leave our Site and interact with that Partner under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for Partners, their products, their pricing, their eligibility decisions, or their conduct. Any transaction you enter into is solely between you and the Partner.

5. Advertising and compensation

AutoRates is compensated by Partners when you connect with them. This compensation may influence which Partners are presented and in what order. This does not affect the price you pay, and the Site remains free for you to use. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

6. No guarantees

Any rate, savings, or comparison figures shown on the Site (including phrases such as "up to 40%") are illustrative only. They are not offers, not guarantees, and actual results vary based on your individual circumstances, your state, and the Partner you choose. Availability of products and Partners varies by location.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to interfere with its operation, accessing it through automated means without permission, scraping content, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by or licensed to AutoRates and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content without our permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoRates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of your use of the Site or your dealings with any Partner. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoRates and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
